Do Good CFO Retreat 2025: Nourishing the House, Strengthening the Network
🌱 Last week, our Do Good CFO team gathered in the Point Reyes National Seashore for our second annual retreat. Bringing together our high-caliber and huge-hearted team of CFOs and advisors, the intelligence, compassion, and over 200 years of collective experience reflected the scale of impact we’re committed to bringing into the world.
Over four days we gathered to replenish and connect so that our network can best support the social heroes of the 21st century–the mission-driven clients that seek to make the world a better place every day.
This retreat reminded us of a few simple truths:
âž• Mission-driven purpose inspires us every day.
âž• Connection is the foundation of trust and growth, nothing replaces the magic of being together in person.
âž• When we know and name our essence, we unlock both purpose and direction.
➕ Asking for help is not weakness—it’s what allows individual strengths to multiply into collective impact.
➕ Culture is not something to maintain; it’s something to nourish every day, with curiosity, play, and care.
We left with renewed clarity about what it means to “Do Good” in our work: lead with authenticity, collaborate generously, and build a network that enables mission and margin thrive side by side.
The retreat also reminded us that Culture is not something to maintain; it’s something to nourish every day, with curiosity, play, and care.
A special thank you to our inspiring network members, facilitator and advisors for making this retreat such a success.
